Long-haul drivers who are constantly tarping full trailer loads reach for our 2-piece lumber set. Each tarp is heavier, but there are fewer pieces to handle, and that trade is worth it out on the road. Fewer pieces means less to keep track of. On multiple-tarp sets the middle tarps get mixed up with the end tarps once they're rolled, and that's a headache no driver needs. Two tarps instead of three makes setup easier, especially when you're working alone.

Both tarps are 24′ wide by 27′ long with a flap, so you cover the whole load and never have to sort out which tarp has the flap. They're built to handle high-profile freight like lumber, hay, pallets, and other bulky loads.

These tarps are made from heavy-duty, 18 oz black vinyl-coated PVC, 20 mil thick, so your cargo arrives in the same condition it left in. You can go lighter with a 10oz vinyl, but it won't stand up the way ours does, and showing up to your customer with a torn tarp and road-damaged cargo isn't worth the few pounds saved. The material is waterproof and resistant to rot, UV, oil, and mildew, with a cold crack rating of -40 that holds through a Canadian winter.

Four rows of D-rings is our standard on every lumber tarp, giving drivers more tie-down points than the industry standard of three rows. The more tie-downs, the better the coverage and the longer the tarp lasts. The D-rings are box-stitched 2″ stainless steel with a wear flap under each one, set about every 24″ along the length. The borders are reinforced with rope and webbing, we set #4 brass grommets approximately every 24″, and the seams are heat-welded to hold up load after load.

Drivers also tell us they love the fenders and wall flaps. They make the tarps easier to roll up and set aside, especially in freezing weather.
